Battery Safety – Essential Information
Using batteries in electronic cigarettes comes with inherent risks if not handled correctly. At Shop Vapes UK, we rigorously test all our batteries and ensure our vape devices include built-in safety features. Nevertheless, it’s crucial to use batteries responsibly to avoid any issues.
- Always supervise batteries while charging.
- Avoid exposing batteries to moisture or extreme temperatures.
- Use only the charger that came with your battery, as different batteries require specific chargers.
- Utilise the On/Off feature on your e-cigarette when it’s not in use.
- Dispose of batteries properly once they have reached the end of their lifespan.

Warranty Information
E-Cig and Vape Battery Warranty:
We offer a 60-day warranty on batteries from the date of purchase. Often, issues with vape kits can be resolved via email or phone, as they are frequently not due to battery faults.
Exclusion for Accidental Damage:
Our warranty does not cover accidental damage. This includes any damage resulting from drops or impacts. Normal wear and tear, such as scratches from keys or coins if kept in a pocket, is also not covered. Consider using a case or cover for added protection.
If you suspect your battery is faulty and it falls within the 60-day warranty period, please email support@shopvapesuk.co.uk with your order number. We can frequently diagnose and fix problems remotely before a return is necessary.
If a manufacturing fault is identified, we will exchange the battery free of charge, provided you return the faulty one first. The warranty is voided if the unit has been damaged accidentally or tampered with. If no fault is found or if the battery is returned outside the warranty period, an administration and delivery fee may apply.
Warranty for Standalone Batteries:
Standalone batteries, such as 18650 batteries, are covered by a 60-day warranty from the purchase date.
Warranty for Kits and Devices with Built-in Batteries:
Devices with built-in batteries, including starter kits, pod devices, and Mods, have a 60-day warranty from the purchase date. These devices are semi-disposable and naturally degrade over time, usually lasting 2-6 months with daily use. This wear and tear are expected and not covered under warranty.
Devices with faulty batteries can be returned within 60 days. If the battery was part of a kit, retain the other components. Accidental damage and general wear and tear are not covered. The warranty is void if the unit has been tampered with.
For unfixable manufacturing faults, we will replace the unit free of charge, requiring the return of the faulty unit first. If no fault is found or the return is outside the warranty period, an administration and delivery fee may apply.
Always use high-quality chargers to prevent damage to the device and battery.
Warranty for Mods with External Batteries:
Box mods using external batteries are covered by a 6-month warranty from the purchase date. Unfixable manufacturing faults will result in a free replacement, with the faulty unit returned first. The warranty is void if the unit is damaged accidentally or tampered with. An administration and delivery fee may apply if no fault is found or if returned outside the warranty period.
E-liquids Warranty:
Taste is subjective, so we do not provide a flavour warranty. We cannot accept returns on e-liquids as we cannot verify how they were stored after leaving our warehouse. If trying a new flavour or brand, start with smaller quantities.
Any faulty e-liquid bottles or low amounts of e-liquid must be photographed clearly and sent to us within 24 hours of receiving your order. The seal must be intact in the photo to assist you.
Drip Tips Warranty:
Due to health and safety, and for hygienic reasons, we do not offer returns on drip tips unless the wrong item was received.
Tanks, Pods, and Coils Warranty:
These consumable products are covered by a DOA (Dead on Arrival) warranty. Report any issues within 48 hours of receiving your order to validate the warranty. After this period, refunds or returns cannot be offered. This also applies to multi-packs and bulk buys.
Disposable Vapes, Puff Bars, and Pre-filled Pods Warranty:
These consumables are also covered by a DOA warranty. Report any issues within 48 hours of receiving your order. After this period, refunds or returns cannot be offered. This applies to multi-packs and bulk buys. Submit video or photo evidence of the fault to receive a credit or refund.
General Warranty Information
All warranties are return-to-base, meaning you cover the return shipping costs for testing. Once repaired or replaced, we cover the return shipping costs.
Replacement products or parts are covered for the remaining term of the original warranty.
Refunds are only offered within the first 30 days if an issue arises. After this period, repair or replacement is the only option unless the product is no longer available.
Note: Shop Vapes UK cannot offer refunds or replacements for products disposed of before contacting us.
Shop Vapes UK reserves the right to amend warranty policies at any time.
