What Are Vape Pods?

A vape pod is the cartridge that sits on top of your pod kit, containing both the e-liquid and coil. Made from durable plastic, it’s designed to withstand regular use.

Some pods feature built-in coils, while others require you to replace the coil periodically for continued performance.

Refillable pods have a fill port, usually located under the mouthpiece, on the side, or at the bottom. This is where you add your e-Liquid.

On the other hand, prefilled pods—used in closed pod systems—come already filled with vape juice and can’t be refilled, offering a convenient, fuss-free option for those who prefer vaping on the go.

Refillable Pods

Refillable pods can be filled and refilled with your preferred E-Liquid, with thousands of flavours to choose from!

They are simpler to use compared to vape tanks, and since they’re refillable, they produce less waste than prefilled pods and disposable vapes.

Prefilled Pods

Prefilled pods offer a convenient option with very little maintenance. They can’t be refilled, but arrive ready to use with 2ml of nic salt e-liquid already inside.

What are the different vape pod coil types?

Built-In Coils

Vape pods with built-in coils are low-maintenance, as there’s no need to replace the coil.

When your coil to taste burnt or the flavour of your e-liquid diminishes, simply dispose of the entire pod and replace it with a new one.

Replaceable Coils

Refillable pods that use replaceable coils are durable and can last for a long time, though you’ll need to replace the coil periodically.

These pods don’t come with coils pre-installed, so you’ll typically need to purchase the coils separately.

While they require more upkeep, they may give you more choice when it comes to resistance options.

Refillable pods are compatible with certain types of e-liquid, and you can determine which ones are suitable by referring to the product description.

Generally, most vape pods are designed for MTL (Mouth to Lung) vaping and should be used with high-PG E-Liquids, such as nic salts or 50/50 freebase vape juice.

Typically, coils last between 1 and 2 weeks, although for pods with built-in coils, the lifespan can be shorter.
