What Are Big Puff Disposable Vapes?
Big puff disposable vapes, or large puff disposables, are disposable vapes or prefilled pod kits that offer a larger amount of puffs while still keeping in line with TPD regulations. They can deliver up to 2400, 3500 or 6000 puffs, and this made possible in different ways depending on the type of device.
These legal, TPD-approved devices offer vapers more puffs and in turn, more value for money and a longer-lasting experience than traditional disposable vapes. Plus, they’re a bit more eco-friendly too!

These vapes arrive prefilled with nic salt e-liquid, using either a 10ml container or four 2ml pods.

Different Types Of Big Puff Disposable Vapes
Due to TPD regulations in the UK and EU, the size of pods inside disposable vapes (and vape kits in general) is limited to 2ml — typically delivering up 600 puffs in the case of disposables.
To get around this, some manufacturers have brought out devices that circumvent this restriction in various ways. Some are rechargeable, while others are designed to be discarded as soon as the battery has run out. The two types of big puff disposable vapes are:
4-In-1 Devices
These types of big puff vapes, such as the IVG 2400, are devices that utilise a 4-in-1 prefilled pod design.
This means that they come with four 2ml pods that you slot into the built-in chamber yourself. The pods arrive prefilled with nic salt e-liquid (usually in a 20mg strength) and deliver 600 puffs each, which amounts to 2400 puffs in total.
You can use a pod until it’s empty and then switch to the next one by rotating the top of the device.
Or, if you get bored of vaping the same flavour, you can switch pods as many times as you like.
IVG 2400 disposables come with just enough battery life to last until all four pods have run out of vape juice.
Once all the pods are empty and the device has run out of battery, it’s ready to be disposed of.
With all that said, other 4-in-1 vapes, like the Lost Mary 4 in 1 Pod Kit or SKE Crystal 4 In 1 2400 Pod Kit, are rechargeable.
This means you can keep using them, as long as your battery is charged and there are fresh prefilled pods in the chamber.
Refill Container Devices
These types of devices, like the Zap! Instafill Disposable Vape Kit, IVG Smart 5500 and Lost Mary BM6000 come with 10ml (the maximum legal bottle size under TPD) bottle of e-liquid that you load into the device to supplement the built-in 2ml pod.
They’re rechargeable, so you can charge them as many times as you want until the 10ml bottle is empty.
To refill the pod, tilt your device upside down for the vape juice from the bottle to fill it up.
The Zap! Instafill has a button that you need to press while tilting the device to activate the smart vacuum pump.
The other two devices we mentioned don’t, so just turn them upside down and puff on the mouthpiece to vape.

Are big puff disposable vapes legal?

Can I refill my big puff disposable?
Larger disposable vapes aren’t designed to be refilled manually. Whether they come with four prefilled pods or a 10ml e-liquid container, they arrive with a finite amount of vape juice and don’t have a filling port.
This is part of what makes them so simple and fuss-free.
Therefore, refilling your big puff disposable isn’t actually possible. We wouldn’t advise that you dismantle or take it apart to refill it , so when the vape juice has run out or the battery is dead, just dispose of your device and replace it with a new one.
Can I recharge my big puff disposable?
As mentioned, some big puff vapes can be recharged, while others can’t.
If you’ve picked up an IVG 2400, then the battery life should run out around the same time as the included pods, which lets you know it’s time to replace your vape with a new one.
If you’ve bought something like a Zap! Instafill or Lost Mary BM6000, then you can recharge them and vape until the e-liquid container has run out.
However, it’s worth noting that some of these types of devices, such as the BM6000 and IVG Smart 5500, don’t include a USB-C cable.
This means you’ll have to use one you already have or purchase one separately.
