Description

The Vaporesso XROS 5 Pod Kit is the full-size device in the XROS pod range, with a round colour display on the front and two different ways of firing it. It is still a refillable pod system rather than anything complicated, but there is a bit more to work with.

At 73.7g it has some substance to it without ever feeling heavy, and the display sits roughly where your thumb rests, so the battery level is something you glance at instead of guessing at.

Key Features

There are two ways to vape it. Inhale activation fires the device as you draw, exactly as a pen-style vape does, while button activation lets you fire it by hand if you would rather start the draw yourself.

Having both is more useful than it looks on a spec sheet. Draw activation is the easier habit for anyone who has recently stopped smoking, and the button gives you proper control over the length of each hit once you have settled on a draw you like.

RDL opens things up. The draw is airier and the vapour is warmer, without going anywhere near the size of a sub-ohm setup, and plenty of people end up moving between the two depending on the day.

Because it covers both, this is a kit to grow into rather than out of. It is rated as beginner friendly, and none of that stops being useful once you are no longer a beginner. Switching between the two is a matter of the pod you fit and how hard you pull, not a setting buried in a menu.
